Digital Marketing - Senior Executive
Working in a high performing marketing team within a large regional business.
About the role:
- Implementation and Configuration: Set up and configure GA4 and GTM accounts, tags, triggers, and variables to track user interactions, events, and conversions on websites and mobile apps.
- Data Collection: Design and implement data collection strategies to capture relevant user behaviour and engagement metrics, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Tag Management: Manage and organize tags within GTM to ensure efficient tracking of marketing campaigns, e-commerce transactions, and user interactions. Working experience on server-side implementation.
- Customization: Create custom reports, dashboards, and event tracking to provide actionable insights to various teams such as marketing, product, and UX.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor data quality, identify issues, and troubleshoot tracking problems to maintain accurate and reliable data.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct regular testing and quality assurance of tracking implementations to ensure they are working correctly across different platforms and devices.
- Working experience with click stream data on Google cloud platform & Big Query.
- Data Analysis: Analyse GA4 data to extract insights, trends, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for optimizing website and marketing performance.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of tracking implementations, configurations, and changes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Training and Support: Train team members and stakeholders on GA4 and GTM best practices and provide ongoing support for their tracking needs.
- Stay Current: Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in GA4 and GTM, ensuring that the organization leverages the latest features and capabilities.
About you:
- Proven experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, including hands-on implementation and configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, JavaScript) and familiarity with tracking code implementation.
- Experience of SQL and other web analytics tools like Adobe analytics
- Experience of cloud platforms like GCP.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing concepts is advantageous.
