Nothing in treasury can be booked, funded or reported until those interfaces run cleanly and in balance, which makes this a critical-path hire. Nothing exists yet, so the chart of accounts, accounting rules, interface design and data mappings are all defined from zero. This role is for a Murex integration specialist with middle and back office depth, not a front-office configuration profile. You will co-own the product with the Business Owner, translate treasury, finance and operations requirements into specifications that engineers and implementation partners can build, and own the target state and sign-off while vendors deliver.About the role:Own the Murex integration landscape end to end, covering trade, accounting, cash and static data flows between MX.3 and every system it touches, in both directionsOwn Murex to enterprise general ledger posting, including accounting event capture, sub-ledger treatment, chart of accounts mapping, journal generation and multi-entity, multi-currency treatmentOwn Murex to core banking flows, including cash and settlement instructions, nostro and account movements, customer and account static data, and limits and exposure feedsOwn market data and trading platform interfaces, covering rates, curves, security and issuer static, and trade capture from execution venues into MX.3Own the interface specifications, including data mappings, file and API contracts, batch windows and sequencing with the Murex EOD, error handling and replayDrive BRD and PRD sign-off, the backlog, vendor coordination and steering committee reportingAbout you:10+ years of experience, with at least one full MX.3 implementation, migration or major upgrade, and working knowledge of the accounting module, MxML Exchange, Datamart and the EOD batchDelivered at least one core integration domain end to end, on the bank side or with an implementation partner: enterprise general ledger (Oracle Fusion or E-Business Suite preferred, SAP S/4HANA, Workday Financials or equivalent), core banking systems (Temenos, FLEXCUBE, Finastra, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, Thought Machine or similar), or market data and trading platforms (Bloomberg, LSEG Refinitiv, 360T, Tradeweb or similar)Strong understanding of treasury accounting across FX, money markets, derivatives and fixed income, and how each lifecycle event flows through settlement and the booksHas owned a product or integration workstream 0-to-1 or through a major re-platform, running a backlog and making scope trade-offsProven ability to run a BRD and PRD process with field-level data mappings across Finance, Treasury, Ops, Risk and Tech alongside vendor teamsTechnically fluent with APIs, file interfaces and batch scheduling, able to read a data mapping and challenge the integrator without needing to codeTakes a position, backs it with evidence and decides when the path is clearIFRS 9 and hedge accounting data requirements, SWIFT MT and MX, ISO 20022 and UAE or GCC experience including CBUAE reporting are advantageousBased in the UAE or willing to relocate

You will help decide what gets built from day one. This is a hands-on product role, not project management, programme management or digital transformation. The client wants a product professional from a build-oriented bank or fintech who has shipped product rather than advised on it, and who knows what good looks like because they helped create it. Consulting profiles without direct ownership of a bank build will not be a fit.
